REVIEW: SCHULBAU 2018 IN BERLIN
International salon and fair in education
On the 12th and 13th of September the 1st Schulbau took place in Berlin. 60 exhibitors from all areas of construction came together in the Loewe Saal in Berlin. Everything was represented, from building construction and solutions for the acoustics of a room to the school furniture. Also ADK Modulraum was on site with a exhibition stand and informed about the realization of schools in modular construction. Among the visitors were school authorities, private investors, school administrators, architects and educators.
The fair was opened from Sandra Scheeres, Senator for education, youth and family. This was followed by exciting lectures, planning cafés, discussions and expert labs. In between exhibitiors and visitors had time to get in touch with each other and to exchange valuable information.

On the second day of the fair, an expert lab took place. Rainer Jordan, Sales National and International at ADK Modulraum, informed about the expansion of educational facilities. Interested visitors were able to register in advance. Based on the Christian Schmidt School in Neckarsulm he illustrated how a school can be increased by another two storeys during the holidays. In addition to the impressive pictures of the entire project, Rainer Jordan provided convincing facts and interessting examples of modular construction projects.

The Christian Schmidt vocational school was extended and increased another two storeys in only four month. Because the modules were almost completely prefabricated in the factory, the school operation could continue as usual and was only minimal influenced. A total of 43 individual modules were installed and an area of 1.135 m² was newly created.
