EASIER ACCESS - THROUGH LEVITATING CORRIDOR

The existing building of the University Medical Center in Mainz was connected to the new building with a module above the street.

The Johannes Gutenberg University has been expanded to include a new cardiology building. The expansion includes 16 new treatment rooms, three electrophysiological cardiac catheterization labs, one of which is equipped with a Hybrid OT and additional space for 19 beds. Across the adjoining street, a connecting corridor was installed at the level of the second floor.

The new premises are easier and faster to access through this corridor for both staff and patients.
